A message from Blackhawk Area Council Scout Executive Don Kinney regarding the safety of our youth and the arrest of a former employee.

The purpose of the Boy Scouts of America is to provide an educational program for boys and young adults which builds character, teaches the responsibilities of participatory citizenship, and develops personal fitness. Filled with fun and adventure, the program is delivered by local organizations committed to the principles upon which Scouting is based.
